SEXi ransomware takes IxMetro PowerHost customer hosting services offline

IxMetro PowerHost reported a ransomware attack on 30 March 2024 that encrypted VMware ESXi servers and backups used to host customer virtual servers. Hosted websites and services were taken offline, with affected customer services remaining unavailable for more than a week in some cases.
