During the night of December 18-19, 2023, Tura Scandinavia suffered a cyberattack that encrypted business systems and made most of its operational IT infrastructure unavailable. The attack interrupted warehouse systems, automated storage, customer ordering integrations and merchandise delivery operations. Tura reported that normal goods purchasing and selling activity could not resume until January 8, 2024, when critical systems and delivery capacity were restored, although some EDI and order-handling processes remained manual. The company estimated approximately SEK 30 million in reduced December sales and SEK 5 million in associated lost gross profit. This incident occurred in December 2023, not January 15, 2024, as suggested by the source CSV.
