Parkovyi data center cyberattack disrupts Ukrainian government and transport-service platforms

An attack on the Parkovyi data center’s cloud systems on 25 January 2024 disrupted hosted digital services used by Naftogaz, Ukrposhta and Ukrzaliznytsia, among other customers. Public-facing websites, call-center access and some postal or rail ticketing functions became unavailable while the operator restored its cloud infrastructure; customer-owned hardware and physical railway or gas operations were not proven to have stopped.
