Beirut airport cyberattack disrupts baggage systems and passenger information
On 7 January 2024, unauthorized messages replaced flight information on Beirut–Rafic Hariri International Airport screens and baggage-handling systems malfunctioned. Follow-up reporting citing an airline source said baggage handling was operating at approximately 20% of capacity ten days later, while flight schedules initially continued.
