ODAV malware attack disables online services at German chambers of crafts

During the first week of January 2024, a malware intrusion into ODAV’s data centre prompted it to disconnect hosted systems and connections to customers. Numerous German Handwerkskammern lost their websites and digital services, including member-facing functions, even while in-person training and examinations largely continued.
