Ohio Lottery cyber incident interrupts large-prize cashing services
Following an intrusion on 24 December 2023, Ohio Lottery disabled some internal applications, leaving customers unable to redeem larger winning tickets via usual mobile and retail channels for weeks. Small prizes and lottery games continued; the full set of cashing options was restored by 26 January 2024.
