Dameron Hospital cyberattack delays scheduled medical procedures during downtime transition

A security incident affecting Dameron Hospital's network began on or about 5 November 2023, according to its subsequent formal notification. By 5 December, the hospital said affected systems had required a transition to downtime procedures and that some patient procedures were rescheduled to maintain safe continuity of care. Emergency care and ordinary patient-care operations otherwise continued, so the evidenced impact is a limited scheduling and service-delivery disruption.
