Clinical appointment-booking channels became unavailable, some diagnostic and outpatient services were interrupted or delayed, and healthcare personnel resorted to manual procedures. Subsequent official updates documented the progressive restoration of affected systems and the rescheduling of missed appointments. Azienda USL di Modena identified Hunters International as the responsible group, while regional legislative records described the attack as ransomware.
