Cyberattack disrupts Henry Schein's e-commerce platform and customer servicing

On November 22, 2023, Henry Schein experienced a renewed disruption to its e-commerce platform and related business applications following an earlier October cybersecurity incident. The company confirmed that the disruption affected its ability to service customers and required temporary alternative procedures. E-commerce services were restored progressively in the United States, Canada and parts of Europe. ALPHV/BlackCat claimed responsibility for the attacks, but that claim does not independently establish the mechanism of the November disruption. The November event is distinguished from the October incident, which had separately affected distribution operations.
