LivaNova cyber intrusion disrupts manufacturing operations

LivaNova determined that an unauthorized party first accessed its systems around October 26, 2023, and detected the incident on November 19. The company took information technology systems offline to contain the threat, disrupting business operations and manufacturing. In December, LivaNova reported that its United States facilities had substantially resumed normal manufacturing operations while European manufacturing sites were undergoing a phased restart. Subsequent disclosures confirmed restoration of manufacturing operations. Through December 2025, the company had recorded approximately USD 13.1 million in direct incident-related costs, excluding business interruption losses.
