DDoS campaign repeatedly takes The Jerusalem Post website offline

Beginning around October 7, 2023, The Jerusalem Post experienced repeated cyberattacks that rendered its news website unavailable during the opening days of the Israel-Hamas war. Its editor directly confirmed successive outages that interrupted online publication and access to news. Subsequent US federal criminal charges describe distributed denial-of-service attacks against the newspaper's website between October 7 and October 9. Anonymous Sudan claimed the campaign, and US prosecutors later attributed the relevant activity to individuals allegedly operating that group. The exact cumulative duration of website unavailability is not established.
