DP World Australia detected unauthorized access to its Australian corporate network on November 10, 2023. The company disconnected affected systems from the internet to contain the intrusion, stopping landside container operations at major Australian ports. Port operations resumed on November 13, and the company reported clearing a backlog of 30,137 containers by November 20. Its investigation confirmed limited data exfiltration but explicitly found no ransomware deployment. The disruption was confined to Australian operations.
