SD Worx cyberattack temporarily interrupts UK and Ireland payroll services
On April 9-10, 2023, SD Worx detected malicious activity in a data center serving its UK and Ireland business and isolated affected systems. Customer access to payroll and human-resources applications was interrupted, degrading the delivery of outsourced HR and payroll services. SD Worx subsequently confirmed in its annual reporting that the incident caused temporary disruption to UK and Ireland client services and that investigators found no confirmed evidence of customer-data theft.
