Ransomware disrupts patient triage and scheduling at Red de Salud del Norte

A cyberattack encrypted a server used by Hospital Joaquín Paz Borrero within Cali’s Red de Salud del Norte ESE. Its management reported that the attack interrupted digital appointment scheduling across 17 facilities and impaired an emergency-department patient-triage tool; patients had to request appointments in person while the network activated contingency measures.
