Cyberattack reduces customer-service capacity at Águas e Energia do Porto

On January 30 the municipal water utility Águas e Energia do Porto disclosed a cyberattack that limited customer communications and processing of service requests and complaints, requiring some customers to resubmit requests. The utility explicitly stated that drinking-water supply and sanitation continued normally; LockBit later claimed responsibility for the intrusion.
