Nantucket Public Schools ransomware cancels teaching and shuts school safety systems
On 31 January 2023, a ransomware attack forced Nantucket Public Schools to dismiss pupils early, shut down internet access and school devices including telephone and security systems, and cancel instruction on 1 February. Campuses reopened on 2 February after core connectivity was restored.
