Clorox cyberattack disrupts manufacturing and product order fulfillment

Unauthorized activity beginning August 11, 2023 led Clorox to take IT systems offline. Manual order handling at reduced capacity caused order-processing delays, product shortages and disrupted manufacturing ramp-up and fulfillment through September. The company later reported $29 million in FY2024 incremental expenses net of insurance recoveries.
