TOMRA cyberattack interrupts digital collection services and supply-chain coordination

On 16 July 2023 TOMRA detected intrusion into its systems and isolated network services. The company documented offline reverse-vending machines in parts of Europe and Asia, impaired North American material-recovery services, manual remote-support workarounds and disruption to internal supply-chain management; customer sorting equipment largely continued to operate.
