Port of Nagoya ransomware attack suspends container terminal handling

On 4 July 2023 ransomware encrypted the Nagoya United Terminal System administered by the Nagoya Harbor Transportation Association. Container gates and terminal handling were suspended for roughly two and a half days, disrupting truck access and import-export cargo movements at the port; a LockBit-branded ransom note does not by itself prove operator identity.
