DDoS attack interrupts EUROCONTROL website and online aviation communications

Beginning April 19, 2023, pro-Russian cyber activity targeting EUROCONTROL disrupted access to its public website and online services. Reporting indicated that airlines were warned against using an affected online flight-plan submission channel and that alternative communication procedures were necessary for some users. EUROCONTROL explicitly stated that the attack did not disrupt European aviation operations. The relevant TRACE consequence is degradation of digital aviation-support service delivery, not interruption of aircraft movements.
