Cyberattack disables Cincinnati State student administration systems and online services

Cincinnati State Technical and Community College detected unauthorized network access on November 2, 2022. While instruction continued, important online services remained unavailable for several weeks, including financial-aid systems, admissions applications, transcript exchange and grading tools. The college also later confirmed that files had been removed from its network between October 30 and November 2. Vice Society claimed responsibility, but a specific ransomware deployment was not established by the college's public disclosure.
