Hive-linked ransomware incident shuts down Knox College systems and campus digital services

Knox College acknowledged a ransomware-related disruption in late November and early December 2022. The institution reported that systems and operations had been shut down to protect information while restoration proceeded. Campus network and digital services experienced interruptions, although the college was on winter break and a material interruption of classroom teaching has not been demonstrated. Hive claimed responsibility, but the institution did not publicly validate the group's attribution.
