TUSSAM cyberattack disables passenger information app and bus-stop displays

TUSSAM detected a cyberattack against its computer networks on 6 November 2022 and isolated systems during incident response. Its mobile passenger-information app, website functions and electronic bus-stop arrival displays became unavailable, depriving riders of live travel information. The company and Seville municipal sources stated that buses continued operating through manual workarounds and that passenger transport itself was not interrupted.
