Cyberattack attempt forces Alia to close customer-service offices and call center
On 29 September 2022, Alia Servizi Ambientali detected an attempted unauthorized access to its IT network. For preventative security verification, it suspended TARI service counters and its customer call center, making those customer-facing services unavailable until restoration on 30 September. The company explicitly found no successful intrusion, compromised data or interruption of its other functions.
