Cyberattack disables school IT and email at Scholars Education Trust

A September 2022 cyberattack on Scholars Education Trust led to internal systems being taken offline across the six schools it manages in Hertfordshire. The outages persisted for more than a week, preventing staff from sending and receiving emails and forcing parents to use telephone contact instead, materially degrading school-family communications. No interruption of classroom instruction was independently established.
