Ransomware shuts down newspaper printing at Heilbronner Stimme

On 14 October 2022 a cyberattack encrypted systems serving Heilbronner Stimme and other Stimme Mediengruppe operations, halting regular newspaper and electronic-edition production. The publisher issued an emergency six-page edition and could not produce its normal printed Monday paper; it later resumed printed editions. The interruption also affected group communications and newspaper distribution workflows.
