Omnicell identified ransomware in its internal IT systems on 4 May 2022. The disruption delayed scheduled customer deployments and installation of medication-management equipment, while billing and cash-collection processes were also delayed. Omnicell expressly reported no known interruption to customers’ installed automated dispensing or robotic equipment.
