Hellenic Post ransomware interrupts postal counter and financial services
A ransomware cyberattack against Hellenic Post (ELTA) on 20 March 2022 disrupted information systems and suspended mail-acceptance, bill-payment and financial transactions at postal branches. Existing parcel and letter deliveries and ELTA Courier operations continued, but full postal, financial and international item-dispatch services were restored only by 7 April. The May 2022 threat-actor listing is not the attack date.
