Oralia ransomware attack paralyzes property-management systems and client portal

Oralia detected a cyberattack on April 20, 2022, and informed customers that some information had been encrypted. A property-management agency reported that most of its information systems were paralyzed, while the client portal was inaccessible and email was restored by April 22. Oralia was the directly attacked subsidiary; its parent Nexity reported that Oralia servers were isolated from Nexity infrastructure. Black Basta subsequently claimed the incident and displayed purportedly stolen documents; that claim is distinguished from the company-confirmed service interruption.
