DDoS attack interrupts Ukrposhta online stamp sales and postal digital systems

On April 22, 2022, Ukrposhta, Ukraine’s national postal operator, experienced a DDoS attack while its widely sought warship-themed stamp was offered for sale. Ukrposhta’s director general publicly stated that the online store and other postal digital systems were temporarily unavailable and that internet providers were assisting with restoration. The verified disruption concerns digital sales and services; the evidence does not establish a suspension of physical mail transport or delivery.
