Regina Public Schools cyberattack interrupts digital learning and administrative services

Following a network intrusion around May 22, 2022, Regina Public Schools disconnected internet-dependent services, including school email, Edsby and Atrieve. Staff adopted offline workflows and alternative parent communication. The Saskatchewan Teachers' Federation independently described substantial disruption to teachers' online assignment and grading work, making this a documented education service-delivery impairment rather than only a privacy incident.
