DDoS campaign disrupts Drom automotive marketplace and paid advertisements

Russia's Drom automotive classifieds and marketplace platform confirmed that a powerful DDoS attack began on the evening of September 11, 2022. The company reported possible reduced website performance during mitigation and extended customers' paid listing promotions by one day as compensation. The disruption therefore affected the delivery of its online automotive advertising and marketplace service, but the company's notice did not substantiate a prolonged or complete platform shutdown. A claim by the IT Army of Ukraine is not treated as confirmed attribution.
