Fraudulent Yandex Taxi dispatches gridlock Moscow traffic

On September 1, 2022, attackers used Yandex Taxi’s ordering workflow to issue coordinated fake ride requests sending dozens of drivers to Moscow’s Fili district. Yandex confirmed that the fraudulent dispatches impeded drivers and created road congestion before its security team stopped them; Anonymous claimed responsibility, but Yandex did not attribute the attack.
