Malware attack interrupts SHI International online customer communications

During the July 4, 2022 holiday weekend, SHI International discovered a malware attack and disconnected public websites and email services. Its customer-facing website remained offline until July 10, temporarily limiting the online contact and access channels of an IT solutions reseller, although company statements said customers could reach account teams by email and phone once those services returned and that external supply-chain systems were unaffected.
