Cyberattack disrupts municipal public services across Valdisieve and Valdarno

On July 27, 2022 an intrusion against the shared information systems of the Unione di Comuni Valdarno e Valdisieve forced municipal networks to be isolated. The operator reported that most public-facing and online municipal services would be unavailable for several days while backups were restored; municipal appointments were also affected. Public-facing services were expected to resume gradually beginning August 1.
