Hackers interrupt TAVR Media radio broadcasts to inject false news
On July 21, 2022 attackers compromised TAVR Media's radio broadcasting infrastructure. Music programming on Melodia FM and Radio Bayraktar was interrupted and replaced briefly with a fabricated announcement about Ukraine's president. The broadcaster confirmed that most other attempts against its nine-station network were blocked. The operational consequence was unauthorized modification and interruption of a live media-delivery service, not a sustained outage of all stations.
