A cyberattack underlying IT outages reported on 9 May 2022 disabled Greenland Health Service digital systems and required server restarts. Staff lost access to patient records, non-emergency services faced significant delays and missed appointments, and the doctor.gl consultation and prescription-renewal portal remained unavailable after other systems recovered. Emergency inquiries remained possible by telephone.
