MediaMarkt ransomware disables European store pickup returns and shipment workflows

On November 8 a ransomware attack affected MediaMarkt store IT systems across multiple European markets. Retail locations remained open but could not reliably perform click-and-collect pickups, returns or store-shipped orders; checkout was limited to products physically stocked on site while staff disconnected affected systems.
