CVC Brasil ransomware interrupts tourism portals and customer-service channels

CVC Brasil confirmed a ransomware attack on October 2, 2021 that left portions of its technology environment and corporate travel services unavailable for days, including customer-service telephone channels, websites and some agency portals. The company told regulators the interruption was adversely affecting operations while clarifying that previously confirmed trips and some ticket-change portals remained functional.
