TiteLive ransomware disrupts bookstore inventory, invoicing and order workflows

A ransomware incident at French bookstore software supplier TiteLive began around September 27, 2021 and disabled its hosted point-of-sale back-office and inventory services. Hundreds of bookshops in France, Belgium and the Netherlands resorted to manual transaction, stock and customer-order processing; stores remained able to sell books but could not reliably access inventory, invoices or customer order records.
