Cyberattack impairs Knauf orders and building-material deliveries

A cyberattack against Knauf Group IT began during the night of June 29, 2022. Knauf isolated the incident and shut down systems, disrupting normal customer enquiries and order processing; contemporary German technology reporting confirmed problems with orders and deliveries. Black Basta subsequently claimed the attack, but the attack mechanism and attribution were not confirmed in Knauf's initial disclosure.
