TASS website defacement and outage disrupt online news delivery
On 28 February 2022, attackers replaced TASS news agency website content with an anti-war message and the site subsequently became inaccessible. The intrusion and resulting outage prevented readers from obtaining TASS news through its normal online channel. Anonymous-linked accounts claimed responsibility, but the technical identity of the perpetrators is not independently confirmed.
