Swissport ransomware delays Zurich Airport ground handling and departures
On 3 February 2022 ransomware encrypted files on Swissport-related infrastructure, temporarily disabling IT systems used for airport ground-handling workflows. Zurich Airport reported 22 flights delayed by up to 20 minutes that day while Swissport used manual or fallback processes and restored affected services.
